Conventional street lighting system often operate continuously even when sufficient ambient light in available, leading to unnecessary energy consumption and inefficient use of resources. Existing setups rely heavily on manual intervention, require significant manpower and are difficult to adjust to seasonal and weather-related changes. These limitations result in higher electricity costs, inconsistent lighting performance and operational inefficiencies.
The smart street lighting solution addresses these challenges by replacing crude controls such as timers and photocells with flexible, individual switching and dimming capabilities. Advanced features such as precise switching times, constant light output, and real-time monitoring enable substantial energy savings while ensuring optimal lighting levels. Integrated fault detection and instant notifications reduce downtime, minimize public complaints, and improve maintenance efficiency.
